Description Of

Custard Apple Tree

The Custard Apple tree, scientifically known as Annona squamosa, is a tropical fruit-bearing tree that is highly valued for its unique, sweet, and creamy fruit. Native to the tropical Americas, it is also widely cultivated in other tropical and subtropical regions. The Custard Apple tree is small to medium in size, typically reaching a height of 10 to 15 feet, although it can grow taller under optimal conditions. The tree features broad, dark green, ovate leaves that give it a dense, bushy appearance. It produces large, rounded fruits that are green when immature but develop a distinctive, scaly texture and turn pale green or yellowish when ripe.
